Brielle, Creative Director, shares the inspirations shaping the Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Brielle's Letter on SS26

When beginning our SS26 collection, I knew I wanted to introduce a new leather finish. We started by sampling a leather with a subtle sheen and a cracked texture, something that immediately felt vintage and lived in. That material really became the foundation of the collection and naturally directed the design direction that followed.

To keep the vintage character of the leather harmonious with the silhouettes, the entire collection leaned into classic forms and proportions. I was drawn to the idea of a “lady bag”. Something simple and refined. This ultimately led to the Miro bag, a piece that feels minimal and understated.

To create a bit of a "family" with the Miro, we began on the Alma bags. I wanted to reinterpret a doctor style silhouette while referencing the structure of our Mercer bag. We explored multiple proportions, and when we sampled the Alma Tall, the taller shape immediately felt perfect. Finding that perfect scale was key to preserving the vintage sense while still feeling modern.

For the Sylvie, the goal was simplicity and wearability. Freja is known for understated shoulder bags that are versatile and comfortable, and I wanted Sylvie to embody that signature while still aligning with the vintage mood of the collection. The result is a piece that’s classic and intentional.

Every style in this collection was designed to work together cohesively. This is our first full collection, and it was important to me that it carried a clear story. I’m continually inspired by classic vintage bags, pieces that were made to last, both in construction and design. That same philosophy and idea guided our SS26 collection.
