The Lunar New Year 2026 drop draws from the phrase “年年有余,” a symbol of abundance and prosperity.

The core piece of the drop is crafted in a glossy eel finish and paired with a special Lunar New Year box designed specifically to hold it. The eel finish references 年年有余 through the homophone between 余 (surplus) and 鱼 (fish), translated into a contemporary expression. 

The Lunar New Year box was designed as a considered extension of the piece. Its closure is inspired by traditional Chinese knot buttons, historically used on garments and now most recognizably seen on Mandarin jackets. Long valued for both form and function, the detail is reinterpreted here as a tactile gesture—bridging tradition and modern design in a quiet, intentional way.
